The Savvy Money Show is created and hosted by Andrew G. Poulos, and Enrolled Agent licensed to represent taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service. Since 1995, Andrew has worked with small business owners and individuals to lower their tax liabilities and provide business consulting through a bottom line-focused approach to solving problems.
Author of the QuickBooks Ultimate Lesson Guide 2011© DVD, a 16-hour training course teaching the fundamentals of QuickBooks®, Andrew is an adjunct instructor for Auburn University's Continuing Professional Education Department, where he teaches courses on QuickBooks®. He is also a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor® and author for Intuit's ProLine Central Newsletter and website.
He was recently featured in Georgia State University's School of Accountancy inaugural newsletter as one of the University's successful alumni. In addition, he is chairman of the Business & Technology Advisory Board for Tucker High School in his local community, where he assists the school with its industry re-certification program. Under Andrew's leadership, the school obtained one of the highest scores in the state of Georgia.
Andrew also serves on the National Society of Accountants (NSA) Subject Matter Expert Panel and is involved in developing the Accredited Tax Preparer Exam (ATP). He has been appointed to NSA's Accredited Tax Advisor Cutscore panel and is one of the committee judges for the Accredited Tax Advisor Exam.
As a former licensed mortgage broker, Andrew hosted home buyer seminars, lecturing on accounting and real estate taxation for first-time home buyers and investors. He has been a guest speaker on small business formation and individual taxation for various organizations. Andrew received his bachelor degrees in Accounting and Real Estate from Georgia State University in 1994.
He is an avid sports fan, and enjoys spending time investing in real estate, the stock market, is always looking for the next great business venture and enjoys helping others become entrepreneurs.
